Dossier and Character Creation (Oukonunaka)

DOSSIER

1. Who is your parens? What are they like? What covenant (if any) do they belong to?

Oukonunaka was trained at Fricks Locks, an urban, East Coast chapter house of the Setting Son located in Pennsylvania. Its intended purpose was to condition and educate young Indian children, Christianizing them and wiping out their native heritages. Rather than ignoring gifted youngsters discovered in the course of their pillaging of native assets, Fricks Locks was created to convert these into loyal members of Setting Son who could help the covenant assimilate other native peoples.

Oukonunaka’s parens is Reginald Farland, the headmaster of Fricks Locks. The headmaster was a brutal Tytalus magus, a man who intended to make bitter enemies of every student that passed through his school. He mostly succeeded. Reginald also fostered an intense rivalry between his students and those of the nearby Ab Initio covenant under the guise of sportsmanship and friendly competitions.

2. Do you have mundane family? Where do they live? What do they do?

Oukonunaka’s mother is still alive, a member of the Ute tribe. She lives in western Colorado. Oukonunaka has no lasting connection with her, having been taken from his home at so young an age.

3. How invested were you in the civil war? Which side did you support?

Oukonunaka was not at all invested in the Civil War. He was wandering the West, making his name as a gunfighter through this period.

4. What is your opinion of the resurgent “Join or Die” policy being employed toward native wizards?

Oukonunaka was raised to support it. He still supports the policy, but thinks it is used as an excuse to enslave native people. Oukonunaka bitterly despises the Setting Son for how they have employed this policy.

5. Do you have any investment in some aspect of mundane society? If so, what is it?

Oukonunaka practices the Tytalus arts of disguise and intrigue. He frequently goes about in different guises and supports several mundane identities.
